Intel Germany’s managing director Hannes Schwaderer, ‘I was misquoted.’ According to AppleInsider, ZDNet Germany is likely to blame, for reporting something they did not hear. AppleInsider also admits their earlier predictions gave traction to the idea of an atomic iPhone.
It does not mean it won’t happen, but all accounts say Schwaderer did not even come close to hinting any such thing.
