PC World takes a look at how differently the sexes look at cell phones. This has caused device providers to consider their market. For example, how does a woman easily find their cell phone in the dark caldrons of their purse? Would this influence the purchase of a cell phone? OS complexities will also appeal to different sexes. The iPhone and BlackBerry are leading the smart cell market due to their cross appeal.

According to Seeking Alpha, the smart cell phone race is between Apple and RIMM (BlackBerry). Palm has forgotten how to play and Android (Google) is not on the playing field. Apple’s latest announcements only tighten the battle.

MacRumors reports that OS X 10.5.3 [9d19] hit the web on Friday and fixes 31 bugs in addition to the 110 total fixes listed for 9d12. Specific apps patched include Airport, Back to My Mac, Spaces and Time Machine.

With a number bugs still to be worked out, no indication of a release date.
