Bloomberg is predicting the sub-MacBook and a 3G iPhone at Macworld SF. The iPhone is what no one has thought of. The sub-MacBook is a given. # Army to incorporate more Macs |

Totally in response to the recent and damaging hacks, Macs do not look so expensive when compared to how little they are attacked. Also, the UNIX core makes it easier to lock the Mac down against attack. Thursby Software is developing software that will enable the Mac to use the security keycard-reading system known as Common Access Cards system, or CAC, used by the military. Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Flash Player 9.0.48.0 and earlier, 8.0.35.0 and earlier, and 7.0.70.0 and earlier. To avoid the vulnerability, Adobe recommends upgrading to Flash Player 9.0.115.0. This update was mentioned earlier this month. For those not running Mac OS X, a patched version of Flash Player 7 is available.
