Apple has provided the “The Leopard Guided Tour“, a video on the main new features in Mac OS X 10.5. The video comes in the usual small medium and large, but also in formates and sizes compatible with the iPod.

Apple has put more effort in introducing new products.

# Camino - 1.5.2 |

Camino 1.5.2 is a Mac native open effort which incorporates the Gecko rendering engine.

What’s new in this version:

* Upgraded to version 1.8.1.8 of the Mozilla Gecko rendering engine, which includes several critical security and stability fixes.
* Large download lists and corrupt site icons will no longer cause Camino to stop loading pages or opening windows.
* When viewing the source of a frame, Camino now uses cached data instead of requesting the frame again.
* When JavaScript code wants to focus a minimized window, Camino now properly restores the window from the Dock.
* Pages which perform actions when the tab or window is closed now function properly.
* Camino no longer adds site icons for local files to the site icon cache.
* Upgraded the “Block flash animations” code to use Flashblock 1.5.4.1.
* Upgraded the bundled Java Embedding Plugin to version 0.9.6.3.
* Improved ad-blocking.

# SeaMonkey - 1.1.5 |

Web-browser, e-mail and newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editing made simple. The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to deliver production-quality releases of code derived from the application formerly known as “Mozilla Application Suite”.

What’s new in this version:

SeaMonkey 1.1.5 closes several security vulnerabilities and fixes several smaller problems found in previous versions.

# Flip4Mac WMV Player 2.2.0.39 |

Telestream’s Flip4Mac WMV Player internet plugin and components for QuickTime allows one to play Windows video files, .wma and .wmv in a Web browser as well as QuickTime Player.

Flip4Mac WMV Player 2.2.0.39 is available for download.

The preference pane in System Preferences under the “Update” tab, would only take me to version 2.1.3.10. Try it and see if it will download the latest.

According to Telestream, the new version 2.2.0.39 includes:

* Added JavaScript support to the browser plugins
* Added support for URL Stream Scripting
* Major encoding optimizations for Intel Mac
* Improved video quality when encoding 2-pass VBR
* Added support for manual Deactivation/Reactivation
* Improved ASX handling
* Improved support for MMS servers and live streams
* Improved compatibility with many different web sites
* Fixed drawing problems with Firefox
* Removed the user enabled “Create Streaming Movies” preference
