ThinkSecret reports Apple is planning to launch Leopard, aka OS X.5, on or about Friday, Oct 26. While ThinkSecret pegs a date, sort of, a quote tends to give a even more general target:

Apple has fewer than two weeks to wrap up work on Leopard and deliver a Gold Master build to duplication for retail packages to be delivered in time. Apple last seeded developers with a new Leopard build on September 21, and if history is any indication, another build should arrive in developer hands some time in the next 7-10 days, likely a Final Candidate release that will be deemed Gold Master should no major bugs be discovered.
