Woke up and saw that the activation had been completed. at 7:00 a.m. Then went about transferring info and files into the iPhone. Used iSync to transfer my cell phone contacts, which were added to Address Book. Then I opened Eudora and added email addresses to Address Book (copy paste) Opened Safari and imported Firefox’s bookmarks. Told iTunes to Sync again and all of that info is now in the iPhone. Set up the POP account in iPhone. I only had to add my password as all the configuration came in with the sync.

If you use Mail and Safari, you will have to do none of conversions, just use iTunes to sync..

It is everything I expected, just more elegant. Smooth and snappy through the menus. Internet speed is not quick, but acceptable. Movies are beautiful. I am very happy with the iPhone.
