Uncle Bill (read M$$$$) is viewed by this author, as only caring about himself. He is trying to launder he’s conscience through his foundation. Apple is viewed as having the consumer’s eye. The article argues that Steve is the bad guy for, among other reasons, keeping DRM a part of iTunes music, forgetting that Apple would never had secured a contract with the labels without some copy protection.
