A soon-to-be-released update to Apple Computer’s Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger operating system will include a significant update to the company’s iSync, reports AppleInsider. More …

Though generally well received, the company’s latest twist on the switch theme hasn’t generated much in the way of buzz.

Thereupon, the Cupertino, CA-based company may be trying a new tack in its first Mac-related advertising blitz in years with the backdoor release of fresh footage. The latest ads are “Macs do Windows, too”, “Make amazing stuff” and “Awesome out of the box”.

They are the left most ads.

# Google Earth Beta 4 |

Google has released a new and improved version of the their industry-best planet browsing application, Google Earth Beta 4. Here are some of the new things available in this iteration:

• A new, simpler user interface
• More layers with better management
• Better quality 3D graphics / integration
• French, Italian, German, and Spanish versions
• Improvements to GPS support (Google Earth Plus only)
• Improved terrain, so peaks and valleys are more realistic
