Billboard, via Yahoo News, reports on WQHT New York and KPWR Los Angeles having a new way to enjoy music — at 99 cents a pop. In cooperation with Apple, they have introduced an iTunes Music Store on their web page. While these two are hip-hop, plans are in motion to add their rock, top 40 and country stations.

“Many of the components of its products are manufactured by third-party vendors in Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea and Singapore … ‘It makes sense for the company to invest and expand in these regions, instead of having a new facility in India,’ say analysts.” More …
