The San Francisco Examiner is carrying a Bloomberg write up that sounds a familiar chord—Apple will release MacIntel hardware at Macworld San Francisco. This time ’round, however, the melody has been taken up by “seven prominent analysts,” according to the publication, though only one is quoted in the piece.
“It’s signature Jobs to pull an effort like that forward by half a year,” said Roger Kay, president, Endpoint Technologies Associates and one of the people expecting a January release.
What I find so interesting is the rise of the San Francisco Examiner as a viable news source. I was part of the transaction for the sale of both the Chronicle and Examiner. The Examiner became a stteet sheet. So it is good to see it in better form. There was a time when both papers were necessary to keep current on the news.
